Chef Cindy Zerah
Chef Cindy started in the kitchen as soon as she could hold a whisk. Issue from a family of avid food lovers, she was introduced to the culinary arts by none less than her mother. She started experimenting on her own, trying out any recipe she could get her hands on. Elaborate dinner parties rolled out of her kitchen complete with beautiful table settings. In 1993, she convinced Kora to start a catering and event planning company.
Soon thereafter she started a family. Needless to say, motherhood took over and she had to put the catering dream on hold for a while. In the meantime she put her culinary skills to use on her friends and family. In 2005, her longtime dream to open up a restaurant was fulfilled and Watercress was born in Sherman Oaks. She received many accolades and made a name for herself in the neighborhood and began catering events for some pretty famous people. After tiring of the restaurant business she decided to return to her old love, and joined West Coast Event Productions as its Executive Chef.
In her free time she enjoys giving elaborate dinner parties, designs jewelry for her husband’s company, enjoys spinning and traveling the world with her family.
